The Praça4 Apartments by Hype Studio were conceived with the aim of fostering connections between people and nature, neighbors, and the urban environment. This vision is realized through a thoughtful design that prioritizes compact units alongside generous common spaces, creating a warm and efficient living environment for residents, while also offering a unique experience upon entering or leaving home.

Connection with Nature

At the heart of Praça4’s design is a focus on integrating natural light and greenery into the building. Structured around a modular grid, the building features three spacious squares (Praças) created by the subtraction of certain modules. These squares are interconnected by staircases and offer direct access to amenity spaces, providing residents with a lush, well-lit pathway through the building that fosters a sense of tranquility and connection with nature.

Connection with the City

The fourth square, located on the ground level, serves as a crucial interface between the building and the city sidewalk. With an open facade that visually engages with the street, along with a street-level coffee shop, urban furniture, and greenery, this space creates an inviting and dynamic atmosphere that encourages interaction with the surrounding urban environment.

Connection with Neighbors

A key aspect of the project is the promotion of community and neighborly interaction within the building. The amenities spaces, strategically connected to the squares, serve as inviting hubs for socializing and gathering.
