Apple quietly unveiled a range of new products and accessories, including updated MacBook Air models, colorful iPhone 15 cases, and fresh Apple Watch bands, without the fanfare of a big launch event.

MacBook Air with M3 Chip

The highlight of Apple’s recent product additions is the introduction of a new 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air featuring the proprietary M3 chip. Apple claims that the M3 chip, initially introduced in the MacBook Pro last October, offers significant performance improvements. The new MacBook Air is touted to be up to 60 percent faster than its M1 predecessor and up to 13 times faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air. Alongside the enhanced chip, the updated MacBook Air boasts new features such as support for two external displays and faster WiFi connectivity. Available in midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray, the 13-inch model starts at $1,099, while the 15-inch model starts at $1,299. Preorders are open, with availability in Apple Stores and deliveries commencing on Friday.

iPhone 15 Cases

Apple also expanded its lineup of accessories with silicone cases featuring MagSafe charging capabilities for the iPhone 15 series. The new cases, available for the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, introduce vibrant colors including soft mint, light blue, sunshine, and pink.

Apple Watch Bands

For Apple Watch enthusiasts, there are fresh options for band colors. Apple introduced new hues for various band styles, including the solo loop, braided solo loop, sport loop, and sport band. The updated palette includes light blue, ocean blue, soft mint, sunshine, raspberry, and pink.

With these additions, Apple continues to expand its product offerings, catering to the diverse preferences of its customer base. While these releases were made without the grandeur of a traditional launch event, they nonetheless showcase Apple’s commitment to innovation and providing users with a wide array of high-quality products and accessories.
